Founder Managing Director, Atur India

projects such as dams, canals, aqueducts

Social
Projects:
1.
The Nehru Memorial
Hall: has provided a platform
for entertainment, drama and cultural activities
in Pune. This multi-storeyed building boasts of
a well-equipped auditorium as well as commercial
offices.
2.
Paraplegic Home
in Kirkee, Pune: built to accommodate
wounded soldiers following the 1971 Indo-Pakistan
war. In 1974, it was inaugurated by the Late President
of India, Mr. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed.
3.
Maharashtra State Housing Corporation
Project: a low cost housing scheme
with 564 apartments housed in 38 buildings spread
over 45.540 sq.metres.

Civil Engineering
Projects :
1. Veer Baji Pasalkar
Dam: Constructed for the Government of
Maharashtra, this Gravity-type dam supplies water
for drinking and irrigation in the southern areas
of Pune city. To bring about its successful completion
this project involved massive infrastructure in
terms and manpower and machinery.
2. Bhima Aqueduct:
This unique water retaining structure was constructed
for the first time for the Government of Maharashtra,
near Tembhurni. Due to its unique features and
construction technique, the Project was awarded
the “Most Outstanding Concrete Structures
in India”. The award carried a Citation
“Assembling the precast units into a pipe-line
structure at great heights, continuously over
3-4 spans and prestressing them longitudinally,
calls for the highest caliber of intelligence,
planning and execution.”
3. Mutha Right Bank Canal:
was constructed in 1964. A special precast yard
was set up to make concrete slabs required for
the lining of the canal.

The Company has successfully completed a multi-storeyed
commercial complex in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
